      볼보 VIDA 부품 이미지 안 나올 때 해결 (Intel Iris Xe) | Volvo VIDA Parts Images Not Showing Fix

      증상

      볼보 VIDA에서 부품 카탈로그를 열면 부품 목록은 뜨는데 부품 이미지(분해도)만 표시되지 않았습니다.

      사용 환경

      OSWindows 11 Pro (24H2, 빌드 26100)
      CPU / GPUIntel i5-1135G7 (11세대) / Intel Iris Xe 내장 그래픽
      RAM32GB
      VIDA최신 온라인 VIDA 클라이언트 (VIDA Prerequisites 4.23)
      기존 그래픽 드라이버27.20.100.8853 (2020년 10월, 노트북 제조사 기본 드라이버)

      먼저 알아둘 점: 인터넷에 도는 해결법 대부분은 구형 VIDA용입니다

      검색하면 아래 방법이 많이 나오는데, 이건 오프라인 VIDA 2014D 같은 구형 버전 기준입니다.

      • 인터넷 옵션(inetcpl.cpl) → "GPU 렌더링 대신 소프트웨어 렌더링 사용" 체크
      • IsoView(IsoView.msi / IV4.exe) 재설치
      • 가상머신에 Windows 7 설치

      최신 온라인 VIDA는 IE가 아니라 내장 크롬 엔진(CefSharp)으로 화면을 그립니다. 그래서 IE 설정을 바꿔도 아무 효과가 없고, IsoView 파일은 아예 존재하지 않는 게 정상입니다. 저도 IE 설정부터 바꿔봤지만 변화가 없었습니다.

      내 VIDA가 최신 클라이언트인지 확인하는 법
      아래 폴더에 VIDA.Desktop.exe, CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe가 있으면 최신 클라이언트입니다.

      원인

      너무 오래된 Intel 그래픽 드라이버가 원인이었습니다. 2020년 드라이버와 VIDA에 내장된 최신 크롬 엔진이 맞지 않아 이미지 렌더링이 되지 않았습니다. 일부 글에서는 드라이버를 다운그레이드하라고 하지만, 최신 클라이언트에서는 반대로 업데이트가 정답이었습니다.

      해결 방법

      1) 현재 드라이버 버전 확인
      장치 관리자 → 디스플레이 어댑터 → Intel Iris Xe Graphics → 드라이버 탭에서 확인합니다. PowerShell을 쓴다면 아래 명령으로도 볼 수 있습니다.

      Get-CimInstance Win32_VideoController | Select Name, DriverVersion, DriverDate

      2) Intel 공식 드라이버 다운로드
      Intel 다운로드 센터에서 "Intel® 11th – 14th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows"를 검색합니다. 11~14세대 내장 그래픽은 현재 이 "레거시 지원" 패키지로 배포됩니다. Arc 전용 드라이버와 헷갈리지 않도록 주의하세요.

      3) 설치 후 재부팅
      설치하는 동안 화면이 몇 번 깜빡일 수 있습니다. 끝나면 반드시 재부팅하세요.

      4) VIDA 실행 → 부품 이미지 정상 표시 ✅

      참고 사항

      • Intel 범용 드라이버를 설치하면 노트북 제조사(OEM) 드라이버를 덮어씁니다. 회사 PC라면 전산팀 정책을 먼저 확인하세요.
      • Windows 업데이트가 예전 드라이버로 되돌리는 경우가 있습니다. 이미지가 다시 안 나오면 드라이버 버전부터 확인하세요.
      • VIDA 캐시(%TEMP%\VIDA\PROD 안의 CEF-… 폴더) 삭제도 해봤지만, 이것만으로는 해결되지 않았습니다.

      🇺🇸 English — Volvo VIDA Parts Catalog Images Not Showing: Fix for Intel Iris Xe Laptops

      Symptom

      In Volvo VIDA, the parts catalog loaded the part lists, but the exploded-view parts images were not displayed.

      Environment

      • Windows 11 Pro (24H2, build 26100)
      • Intel Core i5-1135G7 (11th Gen) with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, 32 GB RAM
      • Current online VIDA client (VIDA Prerequisites 4.23)
      • Original graphics driver: 27.20.100.8853 (Oct 2020, laptop OEM driver)

      Important: most fixes online are for the old VIDA

      The commonly suggested fixes below target legacy offline VIDA (e.g. VIDA 2014D):

      • Internet Options (inetcpl.cpl) → "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"
      • Reinstalling IsoView (IsoView.msi / IV4.exe)
      • Running VIDA in a Windows 7 virtual machine

      The current online VIDA client renders its UI with an embedded Chromium engine (CefSharp), not Internet Explorer. IE settings have no effect, and there is no IsoView component to reinstall. Changing the IE setting did nothing in my case.

      How to tell if you have the current client
      If VIDA.Desktop.exe and CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe exist in the folder below, you are on the current client.

      Cause

      An outdated Intel graphics driver. The 2020 OEM driver did not work well with the modern Chromium engine bundled in VIDA, so the parts images failed to render. Some guides suggest downgrading the driver, but for the current client the fix was the opposite: update it.

      Fix

      1) Check your current driver version
      Device Manager → Display adapters → Intel Iris Xe Graphics → Driver tab. Or in PowerShell:

      Get-CimInstance Win32_VideoController | Select Name, DriverVersion, DriverDate

      2) Download the official Intel driver
      In the Intel Download Center, search for "Intel® 11th – 14th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows". Integrated graphics for 11th–14th Gen CPUs are now shipped in this legacy-support package. Don't confuse it with the Arc-only driver.

      3) Install and reboot
      The screen may flicker during installation. Reboot when it finishes.

      4) Launch VIDA → parts images display correctly ✅

      Notes

      • Intel's generic driver replaces your laptop OEM driver. On a company-managed PC, check with your IT department first.
      • Windows Update may roll the driver back to an older version. If the images disappear again, check the driver version first.
      • Clearing the VIDA cache (the CEF-… folders in %TEMP%\VIDA\PROD) alone did not fix it.
